A festive Lunar New Year tournament filled with epic battles, powerful bonuses, and generous rewards! The event runs for 12 days and is divided into two exciting phases. Below you’ll find all the details about the event mechanics, progression system, and tournaments. At the end of the article, you’ll also find answers to frequently asked questions.

Event duration
The event lasts for 12 days and consists of two phases:
Taotie's Awakening (Days 1–10)
- Daily epic monster battles
- Accumulate Strength Bonuses and Emperor's Scrolls
Rage of the Demon Niu Mo (Final 2 Days)
- Final epic monster battle with Valor rewards
- Best opportunity to use accumulated bonuses
- The difficulty of the missions depends on the level of your troops.
- Fallen troops on epics can only be revived using Gold or Sacred Potions.
- While Taotie himself doesn't yield any Valor points, you'll find plenty of Valor points in the battlepass reward tracks!
Divisions and rankings
Players are divided into divisions based on hero progression and technologies researched.
- Rankings are calculated using the number of Emperor's Scrolls collected.
- 1 Emperor's Scroll = 1 tournament point.
- Each division has its own leaderboard and rewards.
- Players in different divisions do not compete with each other.
Niu Mo

The ultimate challenge awaits in Rage of the Demon Niu Mo — face off against Niu Mo (a powerful Yao Monster) in the final epic battle! This thrilling conclusion to the event lasts for two days and is your last opportunity to earn both Valor and progression points.
Use the Valor bonuses and strength bonuses that you’ve accumulated throughout the event to maximize your rewards. Unlike the Taotie, Niu Mo directly grants Valor, so send your Hero and three Captains into battle and finish the event at full power!
Yogwai’s Seal

Collect Spirit Talismans from the 'Yogwai's Seal' tournament and build a Yogwai on the world map.
- Send your Hero on a Yogwai march
- Organize with your Clan, or you might not have enough time to defeat the Yogwai before it expires
Frequently asked questions
Do I receive Valor Points from Taotie?
No. Instead, Taotie grants Prosperity Coins, which are necessary for completing missions in exchange for the Emperor's Scrolls for the battle pass, where Valor points are earned.
Is it better to complete progression daily or all at once?
The event is balanced so that completing daily personal goals consistently is the optimal strategy. However, players may choose their own pacing.
What happens after level 44 on the Pass?
You enter Endless rewards levels. Each level requires the same amount of Emperor’s Scrolls and grants more Valor Points.
How are rankings calculated?
Rankings are based on the number of Emperor Scrolls collected.
1 Emperor Scroll = 1 ranking point.
Do divisions affect rewards?
Yes. Each division has separate rankings and rewards.
Can I access the Blessed Pass without acquiring the Fortune Pass?
No. The Blessed Pass becomes available only after acquiring the Fortune Pass.
How should I prepare for the final epic?
Participate regularly in Taotie's Awakening to accumulate:
- Valor bonuses
- Strength bonuses against event monsters
These will significantly improve your participation during the final two days.
