In the Kingdom Map, you can send your troops to resource Mines to gather resources. These mines can be generated by the game or built by you.
You can build Mines to collect:
- Iron
- Stone
- Lumber
- Silver
- Food
- Gold
Mines cannot be built on the territory of a Clan of which you are not a member. Additionally, each mine must be built on a specific tile, with the exception of the Gold Mine.
The level of your Mines depends on your City's Capitol level. You can view more details by selecting "Stats" in your Capitol's interface.
You need the required number of Great Architect's Blueprints in order to build a mine. The number of Blueprints required increases with the mine's level.
Please note that you can only have a maximum of two Mines built on the Kingdom Map at any one time.
Game-generated Mines contain fewer resources and have a significantly shorter duration on the map.
As well as the types of Mines that are available to be built, the game also generates other unique Mines, such as Dragon Mounds, Mountains of Gold, and Wellspring Ruins. The first two of these allow you to gather Gold, while the latter allows you to gather Tar. Mountains of Gold are only available in the Kingdom that won the Clash of Kingdoms tournament.
The base harvesting speed in Mines varies depending on the resource being gathered — the more precious the resource, the slower the gathering process. The total amount of resources gathered depends on the total carrying capacity of the troops sent to the Mine.
Find a Mine on the Map or build one, click on it, and select Capture. You will then have the option to send one Captain along with some troops to gather resources. Mines can be attacked, and you can find more information about this in the following article: "Can I capture other players' Mines?"
