In general, items stored on your account do not vanish for no reason. Some event-specific currencies disappear once the event in which they can be used ends. Other items, such as Silver, Gold, building resources, Blueprints, etc., only vanish if you spend them or, in some specific cases, if they are debited from your account by the administration.
