There may be various reasons why your game is lagging.

Here, we'll suggest a few steps that should help you fix the issue.

Check your internet connection

  • Ensure that your device is connected to a stable internet connection, either via Wi-Fi or using mobile data.
  • Try opening a few other apps or websites to see if they load correctly. If they do not, you may need to troubleshoot your internet connection.

 

Close and restart the app

iOS
  1. Swipe up from the bottom to the middle of your screen and hold or double-click the Home button to access the App Switcher.
  2. Swipe left or right to locate the game app, and then swipe up on the app preview to close it.
  3. Restart the app by tapping on its icon on the home screen or in the app drawer.
Android
  1. Open the Recent Apps screen by swiping up from the bottom of the screen and holding your finger in place.
  2. Swipe left or right to locate the game app, and then swipe it off the screen to close it.
  3. Restart the app by tapping on its icon on the home screen or in the app drawer.

 

Repair the game, clear the app cache and data

  1. Open the game's settings. 
  2. Click "Repair the game," then Confirm.
  3. The game will redownload all patch files, which may take a while.

 If this doesn't help, try clearing the cache another way:

iOS
  1. Go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage.
  2. Find the game app, tap on it, and then tap Offload App to remove the app without deleting its data.
Android
  1. Go to Settings > Apps > Total Battle > Storage.
  2. Tap Clear Cache to remove the app's cache data.

 

Update the app

iOS
  1. Open the App Store.
  2. Tap on your profile icon at the top of the screen.
  3. Scroll down to view pending updates and release notes. Tap Update next to an individual app to only update that app, or tap Update All.
Android
  1. Open the Google Play Store app Google Play.
  2. In the top right, tap the profile icon.
  3. Tap "Manage apps & device." Apps with an update available are labeled "Update available."
  4. Tap Update.

 

Restart your device

iOS
  1. Press and hold the power button until the "Slide to power off" option appears.
  2. Slide the button to power off your device, and then press and hold the power button again to turn it back on.
Android
  1. Press and hold the power button until the "Power off" option appears.
  2. Tap "Power off" and then tap Restart to turn your device back on.

 

Uninstall and reinstall the app

iOS
  1. Press and hold the game app icon on the home screen until it starts to shake.
  2. Tap the "X" button in the top left corner of the icon to delete the app.
  3. Open the App Store, search for the game app, and then tap Get to download and install it again.
Android
  1. Go to Settings > Apps > Total Battle.
  2. Tap Uninstall to remove the game app.
  3. Open the Google Play Store, search for the game app, and then tap Install to download and install it again.
