At Total Battle, we are committed to providing a safe and respectful gaming experience. These Community Guidelines outline the behaviors we expect from all players and the actions we take to maintain a positive environment. They supplement our Terms of Service, which every player agrees to when joining the game.
The Way We Play
Total Battle is built on five core principles that help keep our community welcoming and enjoyable. By following them and treating fellow players with kindness and respect, we can all make the game the best it can be:
Play Respectfully: Treat others the way you would like to be treated.
Play Fairly: Engage in honest gameplay without seeking unfair advantages.
Play with Respect for Privacy: Honor personal boundaries and don't share others' personal or sensitive information.
Play Securely: Protect your account and personal data at all times.
Play with Accountability: Take responsibility for your actions and consider their impact on other players.
Behaviors We Don't Accept
To keep Total Battle enjoyable for everyone, certain behaviors have no place in our community. While this isn't an exhaustive list, we ask that you take these guidelines to heart and always strive to be a positive part of the game.
Harassment or Bad Behavior
Inappropriate Language: Using offensive or insulting language — including slurs or any speech intended to demean others.
Spam: Posting repetitive messages or promoting unrelated content.
Bullying, Harassment, Hate: Promoting prejudice, hate, or violence — including racism, sexism, homophobia, bullying, or threats.
Adult Content: Sharing or referencing explicit or sexually suggestive material.
Misleading Behavior
Fraud, Scam: Sharing misleading, deceptive, or fraudulent content.
Personal Information: Disclosing anyone's private or sensitive data — including full names, addresses, passwords, or social media handles.
Copyright: Distributing copyrighted material without permission.
Other Safety Concerns
Self-Harm: Discussing or suggesting harm to oneself.
Child Abuse: Sharing any content that is unsafe or inappropriate for minors, including attempts to exploit, harm, or engage in inappropriate conversations with children.
Other Violations: Any other behavior not listed above but deemed inappropriate (please describe it in a report form).
Each Total Battle account is meant for one player — please do not share your account or allow multiple players to access it. Buying, selling, or sharing accounts is against our Terms of Service
See Something Wrong? Report it!
While we work hard to keep Total Battle safe and free of negativity, you may occasionally come across players who disrupt the experience for others. If that happens, please report this behavior using the in-game Report button. Additionally, EU residents may also submit a report via the Illegal Content Report Form.
If you don't like another player, but they aren't violating our Community Guidelines, you can block them via a whisper chat.
Please note: Repeatedly submitting false reports to harass or target others is itself a violation.
Moderation and Enforcement
Our Safety team uses a combination of automated tools, human review, and a hybrid approach to enforce these Community Guidelines and Terms of Service. We are committed to applying these rules consistently, equally, and fairly.
Our trained moderators review the content flagged by the AI and reported by players, and carefully consider the context of each situation before enforcing any decisions. Our goal is to be effective without being unnecessarily punitive or harsh. Possible actions include:
Warnings: Formal notices for minor infractions.
Chat Restrictions: Temporary limitations on using all in-game chats.
Temporary or Permanent Bans: Suspension from the game for severe or repeated violations.
Appeal Process
If you believe a moderation action was unjustified, you may request a review by following the steps below.
Please note: You can only appeal content violations that resulted in a Temporary or Permanent ban. Each decision may be appealed only once, and you may have up to three active appeals at the same time.
Submit an Appeal:
For appeals under the Digital Services Act (DSA), fill out the Appeal Illegal Content Report Decision Form.
For all other cases, contact our Player Support team by using the in-game Support widget.
Provide Details:
Tell us why you believe the moderation action was incorrect.
Include any relevant context and screenshots that may help support your case.
Review Process:
Our Player Support team will carefully review your appeal.
You'll receive a response explaining the outcome and any next steps.
Content Deletion Policy
Any content that is removed as a result of moderation is permanently deleted from our servers. Even if an appeal results in a temporary or permanent ban being lifted, we cannot restore it. We encourage all players to adhere to these Community Guidelines to preserve their in-game communications.
By playing Total Battle, you agree to follow these Community Guidelines and our Terms of Service. Our goal is to create a welcoming and fair environment so that all players can enjoy the game.
Thank you for being a part of our community and helping us maintain a safe and fun space for everyone!
