You can create equipment for your hero and captains in the Forge. Various sets of gears grant your hero unique bonuses that greatly enhance your army or your city.

Unlike captains who can only equip three gear items, your hero has six equipment slots:

Please note that Hero's equipment has an effect on captains only if they together in the city or march. So if you equip you Hero with crypt exploration equipment it won't have an effect on exploration efficiency.

Details of equipment creation are discussed further in the "Forge" section. You'd need to understand the details of using the Forge very well to be able to develop successfully.
