What is the Trials of Olympus tournament, and who can participate?

The Trials of Olympus allow you and your Clanmates to embark on an Epic tournament spanning multiple days.

A new stage of the tournament will take place each day, with its own activity on the World Map.
This is a Clan tournament, and to participate, a Clan must be player-created, have at least 55 members, and possess its own Clan Capital.

At the start of the tournament, Clans are divided into Divisions. Each Division consists of three Clans. Matchmaking is based on the total might of the Clan, the number of Clan members, and the level of their troops. The higher these indicators, the stronger the opponents in the group.

If you are not in a Clan, or your Clan does not participate in the rankings, you can still complete your Battle Pass and purchase items from the Hermes Store, but some rewards and parts of the event will be unavailable to you.

The new tournament is unavailable in newly created Kingdoms protected by the Shield of Peace and do not participate in cross-realm interactions. In these Kingdoms, the tournament will not appear in the list.

Different Stages of the Tournament:

  • Trial of the Chimera - defeat epic Chimera squads on Clan Raids.
  • Trial of the Basilisk - defeat epic Basilisk squads with your Hero.
  • Lava Fountain Trial - place and capture Lava Fountains to extract Lava Oil.
  • Trial of Tartaros - use Lava Oil to explore the unique Tartaros Crypts.
  • Trial of Briareus - defeat epic Briareus squads with three Captains of your choice.
Note: any unclaimed personal rewards from each trial will disappear after the Trial ends.

What rewards are available in the Trials of Olympus?

The Trials of Olympus have three sources of Epic rewards that you can achieve individually and as a Clan.

Clan Ranking rewards:

Rewards depend on the Clans’ divisions. Clans must acquire a minimum number of rank points (also variable from division to division) to access even the last reward.

Apart from Scientific Tractates and Dragon Coins, all Clans have a chance to win fragments of Torch of Olympus (new Artifact) and Olympus chests. The winning Clan also gets Proof of Victory, which increases the Olympian bonus for Valor and Experience from the Battle Pass for future Trials of Olympus tournaments. However, only those players who were members of the Clan at the start of the tournament will receive Proof of Victory.

Battle Pass:

Earn Scrolls of Olympus by completing personal goals for each stage to receive rewards from the Battle Pass.

Unclaimed rewards are sent to the Journal at the end of the tournament.

Hermes’ Store:

To unlock the availability of additional store items, unlock Hermes’ Loyalty Levels as a Clan through the Trials of Olympus Battle Pass.

Then, complete goals in the Trials of Olympus tournament and receive Winged Drachmas to acquire the materials from the store.

Also, in the Battle Pass, you can receive Winged Drachmas to acquire items from the store. Winged Drachmas will be saved and passed over to the next tournament.

Hermes’ Loyalty Level is specific for each Clan and it resets with the next iteration of the tournament.

The Hermes’ Loyalty will remain with the Clan. Upon leaving the Clan, only those items that require a certain level of Loyalty will be locked for you. If you join a new Clan with a sufficient level of Loyalty, those items will become available again.

What are Talents in the Trials of Olympus?

At the start of the Trials of Olympus, players are granted Talent points to distribute across different stages. Additional Talent points cannot be acquired during the tournament.

Talents can be allocated to different stages to increase the number of Trials of Olympus rank points earned. This only applies to rewards for personal milestone goals earned after the Talent Allocation has been confirmed.

Similarly, the Clan also receives Talent points that the Leader and Superiors can allocate to different stages of the tournament.

Note: Talent points reset at the end of the tournament.

How do I get Lava Oil?

  • Build your own Lava Fountain and collect Oil from it.
  • Capture an enemy's Lava Fountain.
  • Receive it from the Pursuit of Lava Oil event (during the Trial of Tartaros).
  • Offers in the store.
Pro tip: in the Trial of Tartaros, aim for Crypts that correspond to your level to ensure the completion of personal goals.

Are there any battle benefits during the Lava Fountain Trial?

Yes, resurrection costs in Lava Fountain battles are reduced by 90%, with irreversible losses reduced to 5%. Also, troops who perished while attacking Lava Fountains can be revived by spending Silver.

How can I attack an opponent's Lava Fountain?

  • Olympus Portals.
  • Directly, if hero Ayrin is selected.
  • Regular march to the mine occupied by the enemy (takes 30 minutes without Speedups).

Where to get Olympus Portals?

  • As rewards in the Lava Fountain Trial.
  • Hermes’ Store.
  • Special offer in the store.

What happens if I change Clans during the tournament?

  • All the Trials of Olympus rank points and Hermes’ Loyalty Levels you earned before leaving your Clan will stay there.
  • When in a new Clan, you won't be able to contribute Clan rank points until the start of the next tournament.
  • Hermes’ Loyalty Levels can only be awarded to a Clan if they were earned while in that Clan.
