When you play on an Android device, your country in Google Play determines which currency you use in the Play Store. If your device displays the wrong country or currency, check that your country is correct in Google Play.

To check or change your country on your Android device:

  • Open the Google Play Store app.

  • In the top right, tap the profile icon.

  • Tap "Settings" -> "General" -> "Account and device preferences" -> "Country and profiles."

  • Tap the country where you want to add an account.

  • Follow the on-screen instructions to add a payment method for that country.

Your profile can take up to 48 hours to update.

When you travel, your country and currency don't change. Changing the language of the device/app does not change the country or currency you use. You can't change your country on Google Play temporarily.

You can only change countries once per year.
