Your account is your main profile that you use to log in and manage all your game content, security, personal data, and purchases.
A progress instance is one of the specific Cities or Heroes you play with inside your account.
A single account can include several progress instances, but all of them are accessed using the same account login methods.

It's important to remember that:
All actions related to personal data are applied to the account as a whole, not an individual progress instance.
If you want to change your email or another login method on your account, it will be changed for all the progress instances in the account.
You cannot delete an individual progress instance within an account (including seasonal progress) — only the whole account can be deleted.
Our support team might ask you for a progress ID to help you with specific gameplay issues.
Can I have more than one City or Hero on my account?
Yes, you can! During certain events, you can create additional Cities/Heroes (i.e., game progress instances) in your account.
Can I delete an individual progress instance/City/character?
No, deleting a single progress instance or City is impossible. Deleting your account will permanently remove ALL progress instances/Cities. Please be careful and make sure you want to delete everything before submitting a deletion request.
Can my different Cities or progress instances have separate email logins?
No. All progress instances (Cities, Heroes) are accessed from the same account and always share the same email and login methods. You cannot set different emails for each progress individually.

Can I unlink an individual progress instance from my account or link a progress instance to another account?
No. All progress instances within an account are connected and cannot be transferred to another account or separated from their main account.
